Cillit Bang

Happy new year to everyone

had my gti Mk2 for a month and as the bloke at work who sold it to me had not cleaned it in 2 years of ownership it was a shed inside and out, the BBS alloys were in a bad way with the rims looking pretty bad, i used the Cillit bang on the whole wheel and it has fetched them up well there is still a bit of pitting on the front rims but the backs came up very well, i think another go at the front and they will be up to about 95% it wont get rid of it all I'm sure but the wheels will last me for allot longer than i thought they would. Used it while the wife went to the sales and got it back in befor she missed it.

I also used it to soak the dreaded alloy heater bypass valve, it fetched a load of crap out of it and the valve was letting water through after i had done it, got heat in the car after aswell till the thermostat openend but thats another prob lol
