mk4 golf turbo audi s3 brake convertion

ive got a v reg mk4 golf tubo. bought some big brakes off an audi s3 and front brakes fits perfect so  do the rear discs but the rear brake caliper carriers line up sort of but there is a gap between carrier where it should bolt to the car.
can anyone help??
