As most have said, learn to drive, dont cut corners, take wider turns and dont park 2 mm from the kerb. To be honest, Monza's or not, if you kerb any alloy its gonna be ruined to some extent.

GTI mk6, 3dr Manual (Yes Manual! If I wanted a Taxi I'd hail one, not spend £1500 on one), Candy White, Full Leather, Xenons, ACC, 18", RCD510 + Dynaudio, DAB Radio, Winter Pack, Luxury Pack, Fiscon Bluetooth Plus, Golf R LED's.

I think the large width of the mk6 does not help. As i said earlier putting it on the workshop 4 post ramp i had to widen it to further an i have for most luxury A8 size cars in the past!

Just washed my mk6 and noticed a couple of quite large stone chips out of each rear alloy. I would be  now if i had the monza shadows and i know what would come next.

That's exactly what happened to me... and I nearly did cry.. I need to get them off, cleaned and get some sealant on them as soon as I get home I think

I really cannot follow the logic behind the topic titel..................why not buy a scratched and dented MK VI straight away....costs less and you are homefree.....

I myself rather see a scratched Porsche driving by than a brand new Opel....
