If you want a cheap why to take photos of the moon then go for it.

You're going to need a very good quality head to keep it steady though as the shake is going to be crazy at 2000mm.

Don't expect quality optics either as it's a reflex lens and going of the samples produces pretty soft results, plus you'll be on manual focus.  Could be worth a punt though.

yeah think id use 2 tripods to keep it steady although i do agree the pics they  have shown dont look too crisp
