VAGCOM
« on: 16 June 2010, 12:55 »
Do any of the cheap ebay leads for Vagcom work on a MKV GTI?

I know they are restricted but will they read/reset codes or do you need proper VAGCOM for that?

All I need is the ability to read or even just the ability to reset!

If so could someone please link me to one so I know which type!

Thanks!

There are ones now filtering through which work on the MK5

need to make sure they say CANBUS or MK5 etc in the description

Alternatively maybe someone with VAGCOM is near you who will help you out for a few beer tokens

Ignore all those saying 409 as thats the old lead / software

You want stuff saying 908 and later I believe
