Hi all. I have a MK3 Golf GTi 8V with modest tweaks, including a panel air filter and a stainless steel exhaust. I was wondering if there would be any point in getting a re-map? I know its the VAG petrol and diesel turbo engines that gain the significant power hikes from an ECU remap so I'm not expecting night and day changes, just hopefully a better throttle response and a few extra BHP. I was wondering if anyone had ever done this and who they would recommend to carry out the remap.
