mould

i`ve been given a mk2 gti. its been sat in my mate garden for a few months so there is a bit of mould on the seats and door cards!
any tips on removing it?

Take the seats out, wash with a bucket full of hot water with a mug of Persil mixed in, saturate and scrub the covers, then power wash the surplus off, leave to drain/dry for a couple of days before refitting, seats will be mint!

i'd wet vac with something along the lines of biobrisk and then extract the moisture out

jet washing does work, eg on carpets, but you need to make sure they will fully dry out or the problem will return

you can always ask this kind of question in the detailing section  :smiley:

A little crude Guy, i'll agree, but it works.. I was also assuming that he has no access to a wet vac machine...

yeah no wet vac. there isn`t that much,so i was wondering if there was something you can buy in a spring can?

bucket and water method with this to follow i think is a safe bet..lol
