i am new on here, havent bought a GTi yet but am looking to buy one in the near future!
Lookin for a mk3 GTI preferably an 8v cos of the insurance costs! (22y.o with no no claims!) i know how i want it to look like, i just need some advise/ideas of wer to go engine wise...
What is the potential of an 8v? are there any worthwile mods for worthwile increase to performance?! or shud i just forget the 8v n go for a 16v?
Ive looked on fleabay and piston heads for a black, mk3 GTi, with 3 doors. if anyone knows of a mate selling something similar please email me!! not to worried bout body work cos i can sort that out easy but my mechanical knowlage aint quite up to the standards of you guys! so a car with half desent mechanicals wud be a start!
