my new toy "engine crane" wont need to hire one again :D


it flying :!
and it had to higher again to get the engine in





new engine frame wouldnt fit "bolts wouldnt go throu so i drill them 2mm bigger


only to find that the frame was to f**king short anyway :mad:

then thanks to mrac thinking it had the correct mount well it didnt :mad:
thanks marc :| i headed off to the scrappy to get the one and only mount out of a xr2i from the only scrappy that was open on a sunday :o
heres the two mounts side by side



wooooooooooo engine is finally in :D

i once did something similar.. but on a mk2 fiesta, totally stripped out.. boy did that thing fly !

isnt the engine suppost to be dropped in to the car, not the car dropped over the engine!!!!

its easyer to drop the car over the engine in my experience

cant wait till my golf is done and his fiesta there our track cars  :smiley:

obviosly the golf is faster  :cool:
