The Bora's been Assaulted!!
« on: 15 May 2010, 18:06 »
Did a dump run today to get rid of some stuff from the garage and when I got back I noticed that someone has scraped down the side of the front wing and bumper. Don't know exactly when it happened (have only used the car in the evenings recently until today) but have asked at all the places I've parked in and there's no CCTV. So a new bumper (It ain't gonna polish out!) and a repair and some paint for the wing it is then...

Have protected NCD so will probs go through insurance as I doubt I could get it done for less than the excess anyway...

What a p!sser...

Keeping schtum. Mostly.

thats a sh!tter mate, wouldnt go through insurance tho just for that, protected or not they will still punish you on renewal

looks like your gonna need new rubber soon too they look like they are getting close to the wear indicators

That sucks

I'd rather not go through insurance, protected or not.

But for the purest engine experience, displacement has no replacement. All other methods are simply attempts to artificially recreate the benefits of displacement.

Kells...that looks as tho he's got about 5mm left...depending on the rubber he's running that could be a year

I'd say 2nd hand bumper if badly hit, and new wing, painted...£250ish...

gutted for you though

I would see if i could get my hand on the inside and pop that out, do it on a warm day, leave car in the sun and the just apply light pressure to the inside, it doesn't look as though its creased, either that or see dent diamond or someone similar i reckon they would get that out not a problem.
