Trip to the breakers...
« on: 08 May 2010, 19:11 »
and i left happy!!

Got myself a W8 light from a passat for the low cost of £5
Later style drinks holder that actually works for £5
ASR button for free
Standard plastic non rubbery heater dial surround from a lupo for free

Gonna wire the the light in on monday, as well as the ASR button (for mod purposes its going to be a power button for something). Already fittred the heater dial surround and it looks loads better than the scratches on the old one.
Also fitted the drinks holder, and pleased to say it actually works unlike the older style one.

Will put up pics of everything when its all done

must admit i do go there alot lol but most of the golfs there are well stripped of parts. i seem to be lucky as i find all my stuff on the cars that are stacked up top!! it pays to get a ladder and have a look, thats how i found everything today, everything in the cars on the ground is gone!
