1990 8v Golf GTI fuel pump?

  :'(I have a 1990 8v Golf GTI. The fuel pump wines and it sometimes feels like there is no fuel getting to the engine, it happens in any gear but very intermittent. I have changed the fuel pump, in line fuel filter, fuel regulator, and all the electric?s apart from the condenser (if it has one).

Any help please help.

'Condensor', do you mean the accumulator? Is the new pump running much better than the old one? (Less whining). There is a lift pump in the tank itself, have you checked that?
