Mk3 coolant expansion tank

Will the coolant expansion tank off a 96 mk3 gti 8v fit a mk3.5 cab on a t reg? Just wondered if they were the same as someone has asked me to find out.

yeah it will. all mk3 use same tank except VR6, and cabby didnt get the vr6. unless its had an engine swap of course. low spec mk3s dont have a coolant level sensor i dont think? but the GTI one will.
