Mk4's don't have bearings housed in the hub of discs like earlier models.
500 quid is silly money for a 1.4. I reckon 300 quid for the whole lot including labour.
45 quid is cheap for getting the rears done, go with that.
It proves that its always worth getting a second opinion, and never trust kwik fit  :rolleyes:

While I was there they did notice I need new locking nuts preferably by early next week when my breaks are fitted where can i get a cheap set?
