Help Needed

I know this is not a VW related question but some of you must have had a similar problem .

My friend has got for his sins a renault megane [i know i know ]

What has happened is one of the rear doors will not open from either inside the car or outside.

I think something has come off inside the door .

Any ideas on how we can get it open  ?

a lighter and some fuel should sort the problem

try winding the window down then then getting a coat hanger (bent to shape) and unhook the lock maybe ??
