Remove Dipped Beam Bulbs & Sidelights
« on: 06 May 2010, 17:16 »
Just got my GOLF yesterday and i am already wanting to change the lights! Had a wee look just now and can anyone tell me how to remove the dipped beam headlights and side lights? Dont want to go in and start pulling wires and risk damaging anything!

Probably quicker to RTFM
Headlights are just a quarter turn if that. You don't need to remove any wires. 20 second job once you have sussed out one side.

Cheers p3asa,

What guy reads the manual!!

Sidelights look a ****** to remove, is it just a pull yo get them out.

Ordered a set of hids from hids4u and led sidelights. should arrive tomorrow so got the joys of fitting them at the weekend. Maybe need to remove my headlights

I feel your pain! My hands are still sore!

Just give it a twist anti clockwise, maybe a quarter of a turn if i can remember then pull. Takes quite a pull though! PS dont pull the wires like i done!
