Right I own a mk2 1.3 GOLF gti,i was planning to do a 1.8t conversion to her but time and space is an issue at the moment and the engine has had to be moved to the back of the workshop until i can find the time to get near it again...
Anyway for the time being I want to do a few mods on the lil girl,one of them being tuned ported/polished head a after market cams. Yes I know its a 1.3 and I know i'm limited to what can be done to her but I fancy the challenge of it anyway!
I can get hold of an 8valve tuned head off a mk3 golf gti and believed they were the same on all sized engiines,is this correct? Would the head go on my 1.3?
I know mk2 and mk3 heads are basically the same just wondered if it was the case with the different sized engines as well...
