Dear VW, can we have a non-automatic intermittent setting, please?

I don't know why they don't have a standard non-auto intermittent setting that you can adjust the speed of - like most cars.  The automatic one does my head in.  Its always on full pelt, or never!  It was the same with my MK5 and also in the MK6 Golf Plus I have at the moment.

I'm really impressed with mine to be honest. Its the first time I've had such a feature
The only problems I've had is the occasional sweep when dust appears to hit the windscreen if I'm behind a lorry or bus.

+1.Pretty good and no problems. However, not as good as the Honda.
Sorry, got that wrong!
Was thinking of the wipers!
