« on: 31 March 2010, 08:24 »
Hi i have a mk3 golf gti. i got a set of lowering springs and shocks by 45mm! Fitted them fine no problems! But i bought a new set of wheels and wen it came to fitted them i cant get the rear alloys on because the top of the tyre is hitting on the suspention they have 205/45/ tyres on! And wen i looked at the standard alloys they have 205/50 tyres on them an there is a biggish gouge out of the top edge of the tyre does anybody know how to fix this cheers

Offset of wheels wrong or if the shock has a adjustable spring plate you could or should be able to move it up.
