what would you do? trade in or keep?

it same old story when i bought my 5dr no decent 3 drs about since then sorted a couple probs but need to finish off doing other nesseary work to car ie bushes(front and bk,) front discs ,timming belt water pump and fix rear abs or trade in (will need prob do abs and get cheap front discs) so they take it and get a 3 dr as the more i look at them and see them lol mc d's car park full of golfs when stopped by and i look at mine and think 5dr just aint cutting th mustard.(yes no alloys on mine but even then hard to see)

am i being mean as i always had 3dr cars or does a 5dr hav the looks??? i just can see it.

opionions? lol it just a topic this not to slag 5 drs as i know many have them like myself.

well seems i cant stop buying things just now lol thats a set of alloys in the bag 18's. all the parts i getting used but since i doing this all on a budget i hope it looks ok , read you thread again rhyso  and i stll not convinced lol but as said my extra pennies disappearing fast so might hav to stick with 5drs lol

3 doors look better in some cases but are a pain in the ass for putting things in the back including your mates lol, Also the doors on 3 door cars are usually stupidly big and also a pain in smaller size car parks etc.

ah a fine point made there ha ha ha will need to make sure my girlfriend doesnt mind sitting in the back lol

well saw another cracking 3 dr today but too be fare seen 2 or 3 5dr's around dunfermline area and the looking good but full body kits on, lowered on thier asses with big wheels seems a simple but expensive combo.

but i dropping off my anni skirts and valance to get done soon but not fitting till wheels ect ready to go.

Well 3 door 5 door is all about preference and what you intend on doing to the car.
IMO a 3 door will be much easier to look like a beast of a machine where as the 5 door needs a bit more doing to it to give it the same sporty look.

But then again i've seen some amazing 5 door golfs that would deffo make you do a sex wee wee in your pants.
So it's all down to preference and what the back will be used for i.e kids/mates/family oor just for getting your leg over

I'd love a 3 door but pain for my lad in and out the back which would in turn = to dents in the doors
