Alarm

Just a daft question, not sure if this is the best place to post this but here we go.

I have an autowatch alarm / imobiliser, when I first bought the car, the indicaters used to flash when the alarm / imob was set / unset.

But this no longer happens, and i have no idea where to start looking, has anyone got any ideas?

I would take it to an autoelectritian, i had trouble with mine when i first got my MK2 and i ended up having the control box re soldered because it wouldn't lock the doors off the remote then after that was done the indicators kept sticking on, All in all i had a nightmare and i wish id put a new alarm on instead!!

iI am not an expert, but can you find the console for the alarm?, under the dash probablly and check that all the leads are good, then trace the indicator leads to the module make sure they are not damaged or loose, also check the earth on the alarm.
