OIL on service display reset

By default does it come up every 10k?

If i change the oil before the 10k (say 7k) then do i just do the procedure to reset it then and then it should pop up in 10k from now instead of 4k from now.

im at 137k now and changing oil so dont want the OIL on service display to come up at 142k as i last changed the oil at 132k.

Yes and that's correct

Mine comes up with service rather than oil though - silly question but have you actually checked the oil level?

yeah, seems to be quite low and i only had enough to top up a few more times so thought id do a oil change with some forte oil flush and protector
