Anyone have or point me where I can get a replacement earth strap -
bonnet hinge to inner wing.
Have found one on Ebay but it is priced at £13.99....... seems a bit expensive.
A good - non brittle - second hand one would do fine...
Thankyou.

Can't you just make one up? A couple of yellow crimps and fairly heavy duty cable and Bobs your uncle. Unless you want to keep the car original.

You can actually repair them if all the bits are to hand, prize open the terminal, remove the old broken braiding, and clamp it back together again, plastic sheathing can be replaced with heat shrink...

Many thanks for all replies - Will try the 'repair' offered in previous post - at the obvious risk of the strap becoming slightly shorter - but original looking.
Was in Halfords yesterday - all they had were a series of empty display hooks where earth straps should have been (apart from some which would earth a space shuttle).
Will get it sorted .... the weather is improving at least!!
