GT TDI HEAD CASTING? ALL THE SAME?

i think i need a new head, as my timing belt snapped, been offered one for £150 (like new/reconditioned)

ive got a gt tdi 110 (99)  think its the earlier model not pd?

would i need a specific head replacement?.....gonna get my bird's brother to fit a timing belt 1st before parting with ££££ for the replacement head, although i think £150 is pretty good.........

any help?

Get the part number and check against your head, I know there is a lot of portability between heads but finding the part number of that head will help you find out if it's a match.
