Anyone fitted this particular brand TIP?
« on: 25 February 2010, 18:55 »
Hi, has anyone fitted this TIP? Its item number  160407081426   Only reason I ask is that it is half the price of the Forge equivalent and at the end of the day its just a formed piece of reinforced silicone to which £140 is a bit rude IMO. What ya reckon??? Itll be going on my AGU with a KO3s very soon hopefully. Thanking you

Stick to forge or samco mate as you will defeat the object in the first place (i.e you dont want the tip to colapse under high boost) REMEMBER BUY CHEAP BUY TWICE

I have this exact same one mate  .
I haven't fitted it yet but compearing this to my Samco K04 TIP the diffarances is strenth is amasing. This one is a lot stronger and dusen't fill like you could squees the pipe together where the samco one you almost can.
I didn't perches this TIP. It came with a k03s convertion so not shore if it will fitting properly with the otehr peipes in the engine bay but from what i have see so fare and offering it up with the turbo and placing it in the enging bay, every things looks good or dear i say it better that the Samco one.
TRANSFORM, & ROLL OUT!

as long as it is reinforced it won't collapse

I went with a THS intake pipe, just cos the others are big names doesn't make them better

I take it that as im putting it on a KO3s on an AGU engine Ill need to buy one to fit an AUM with a blanking plug? Cheers for your opinions, I thought that a pipe was a pipe if it is made of the same material and has the same structure! Im not up for wasting an unnecessary extra 60 quid to have forge printed on it!
