not tailgate related, but how much import tax/duty do u think id get stung for if i ordered something of the value of 30 quid, weight wise about 5kg if that

As long as the seller states £30 value on the custom form and marks it a gift you should not pay anything.

£36 is the maximum gift Value for import outside of the EU, just had to whine at Fed Ex for trying to charge me duty on 3 Bottles of wine sent as a gift due to the fact my friend sent it from his company total value CHF 36.
It is getting really tight on importing "gifts" due to E bay trade, Mr tax man wants his pound of flesh  :smiley:

i know when i've been over in europe, i have seen mk3 golfs with a square looking recess (like the US)...... think it might was in geneva (swiss car) but either way, you gotta try and find it over there too!

seems like its easier to cut and weld it yourself!
