Could he not put a battery in temp.
providing there is an earth for the motor if it needs one I guess that would work, get the polarity right so you're not trying to push it up further :embarassed: and that the motor will accept 12volts ok (maybe it is downscaled in voltage somewhere - im just being safe here and don't want to see anyone burn something out!)
