I've thought that about ex-demo cars too. Nice spec and mileage but you know a lot of those miles have been quick blasts near the dealership with no time for the engine to warm up.
Do you get to take a look at the cars before bidding at a car auction? Test drive or anything?

You can look at them, but that's about it, no test drive.

1 - I've had lease cars in the past and always looked after them - the last one, when the guy came to pick it up he said "I don't usually see em looking that good" - siad he'd picked up a snatch back Scooby from one scrote and it looked like tramps had been living in it it was that badly abused!
2 - My motor has 58k on it and it's a 57 plate - all motorway miles and all Serviced up to date, plus any warranty bits.
3 - Mine was an ex-demo and I've never had any issues with it, got it with 3k on the clock, but see above - got 58 now and still going strong.

Looks like I got all the points on this thread covered  :wink:
