WAT AIR FILTER?
« on: 18 October 2004, 00:01 »
Hi guys, I need a bit of simple advice here, I know there's prob quite a few of you who can cast some advice my way on this, all oppions welcome.
I've just bought an mk3 GTI 8v. It?s totally standard and Im thinking the first engine mod I do should be a replacement air filter of some kind. But instead of just going out and buying any old K&N I was thinking perhaps theres something which would maybe maximize performance better. Any suggestions?
I?ve also noticed that there appears to be a lot more to the air box on my GTI than that on my mk3 driver. Is an induction kit also an option?
Any views would be cool. cheers. :)

K & N Induction kit - every time mate!

The oldest and the best! Still cant be bettered in my book. Simple and effective. And easy to fit.

Ramair kits are better, give better power gains and a better noise and don't have the chav image associated with them that the K&N ones do.
