:smiley:hi there my names chris from bradford im a new member,i dont own a golf at the mo but im looking to get either a mk4 1.8 gti turbo or a v6 4motion would like to know any pros and cons about either car as dont want to end up with a lemon.will hopefully have about £3000 to £4000 to spend and have heard a few horror stories about turbos blowing and water pump failures on gti over to you guys for guidance,many thanks,chris

hey, welcome to the forum. not sure as i'm a mk3 man. have a search in the mk4 section for common faults and see what it throws up. still can't find info then ask away!
