Alloys
« on: 23 January 2010, 19:30 »
I have 5 BBS alloys, they have stamped on them 5 1/2 JX 14112 - 247ET42 they have Pirelli P6000 185/65 r14 with them. They are honeycomb affairs with a small 70mm (guess) cap. The caps are renault stamped. Looking on ebay I can get BBS replacement caps (carbon) for 32 quid which seems a tad steep, are there cheaper ways to replace these caps?
Alternatively should I look at larger rims (perhaps with low profile tyres)? How large can I go and what are the pro and cons?

In which case, is there anywhere that would like some mint pirelli p6000 with BBS and possibly TSW alloys to swap to 15 bbs alloys with some decent rubber?
