Logic 900 alarm
« on: 18 January 2010, 18:24 »
My 95 GTI has a Logic 900 alarm however the previous owner had it disconnected as the fob battery had run out. I think the RAC came out and removed a fuse to disable it.

I've got a battery for the fob and want to re-activate it however I can't find where the fuse for the alarm is located - I've looked behind/under the glovebox, fusebox and engine bay. Any idea where I can find it?

Thanks.

I have one of these on mine, and i'd say take it to a good auto electrician. I've had a very good look in internet for info..and theres none!

try using the 915 guide http://www.golfgtiforum.co.uk/index.php?topic=110719.0

I'm not 100% sure the same but see what's listed on my link

Can't see anything on the guide but thanks anyway - I think I'll leave it as I only really wanted to get the remote locking working again.

If I do find out where it is I'll post up the details for future reference.

Well I took the car in for some work at AG Autotechnik and mentioned that I was having trouble finding the fuse. They sorted it for me and it is working perfectly now - apparently the fuse was located above the main fuse box to the lower right of the steering wheel.
