Hi everyone im newish in that i have the pleasure of owning a cc 87 cabby that needs a lil tlc.I used to have loadsa GTI's in my youth and am a bonkers TVR owner.But ive always had a hankering to get an ole mark one gti.This one had been unused for 2years (150miles) but looked ok roof is black now (and yes it leaks!) wheels have been painted all white but they are original avus/scala wheels. Body resprayed so logos are gone, but it has those white seats (drivers bolster gone) and after a little fettling passed its mot first time, so im gonna try and bring it back to its former glory. I do love driving it though, had a drive in my Tvr Tamora yesterday and went back into golf and tho very different i loved it.
Heres hoping it will be a cosmetic and not major surgery to restore.
