what offset should I buy?
« on: 16 January 2010, 11:39 »
Looking to get some new wheels next week, and was wondering what offset is going to look more planted? If im right -ET35 being rim with the most poke? Whats the best offset for a mk4?

Also - Im going for 5x100 8J with 225 40 18's. What can I lower it by if it doesn't look right when I get the wheels on? With too much poke and too much of a drop, I don't want to risk arch rubbing!

Thanks Guys

get ET35 then play with spacers to get it exactly to your taste IMO

It depends what width wheel your going with to and your tyre size, whether your having a stretched tyre or not, ive got 8j wide with 215/40/18 tyres et35 r32 reps and thinking of 20mm spacers either side at the back and its lowered a fair bit.
