Need a wiring diagram for standard cd player/headunit

Hi im after ether a wiring diagram or for someone to just tell me what colour wires go in what pin in what plug. Im after it for the two plugs (brown and black) that would go into the standard radio unit.
Reason for this is ive bought a mk3 gtolf and it has a poor headunit in it at the mo and im swaping it with my other one out of another car. The one in the golf at the min stays on all the time you have to take the fascia off to turn it off! so i plugged my other one it and it doesnt work at all but works in my other car fine (mini) Ive look at the wires and it looks like someone may have been swaping them round.

the cd player works now only thing is, when i turn the igntion off the cd player stays on! i have turn it on and off? is this just down to my headunit as ive googled the fault and people are saying its just because its the headunit?

Nope, swap the red and yellow wires around.
