Nice touch on the Frozen windsrcreen wipers.

I always preferred cars that operated the window washer and wipers separately.  i.e. you pulled the stalk to have the washers come on then you activated the wipers. It saved so much hassle if the washers were frozen as there was nothing worse pulling the stalk to find out you had no water but the wipers would then come on and smear all that muck across your windscreen.

Anyway to my point, found out tonight after my washers had frozen that after trying them the first time without water coming out, the wipers won't wipe the next time you pull the stalk to try the washers again. It must be able to detect that no water was activated so doesn't activate the wipers.

Nice touch VW.

Sounds good - my loan Saab squirted no water since it was -10, and then proceeded to smear the muck the lorry in the other lane had splattered over my windscreen everywhere!  To top it off, about 15 seconds after its couple of wipes, it did another one to finish off!
