its all good as i won £2000 at casino on new years eve!! how much would it be to fit them?as im useles at things like this!

probably a day's labour as it would involve removing the bumper, headlights, fitting the auto-levelling sensors in the rear, running wiring looms.  Could be two day's labour maybe more

Are you intending to buy the parts new or 2nd hand?

Headlamps are approx £350 per side with bulbs approx £145.00 each, the control unit is £250 per side so there's a £1000 and you're not even close to having all the bits or getting them fitted

If you're adamant then I'd start searching scrap yards for all the bits otherwise you're looking at a silly amount from a dealer

It would be cheaper and easier to trade your motor in for one with them already fitted!!

Alternatively just buy some uprated bulbs and spend the rest on making the car faster

Have a seach on the mk5 section as this comes up a lot. It's best to forget about it because there is a huge amount of work involved and many garages won't do it.
Not low enough mk5
Not on the road enough mk3

Well just fitting the projector headlights is easy. Having a properly working, legal xenon set up needs the whole shabang; sesnors and auto levelers and so on.

Why don't you buy some of these Hella xenon 'look' projector headlamps on ebay for £414

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/VW-Golf-Jetta-MK5-GTI-BLACK-Xenon-Look-headlights-Hella_W0QQitemZ230420646696QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM?hash=item35a6240b28

Then get a set of the hids4u 6000k hids for about £140 and it will look like the real deal! I have this hid kit on my vRS tfsi and it looks like oem xenon
I know it won't have self levelling etc etc... but if your not worried about getting levellers etc it's possibly the cheapest, best option.
I'm going down this route with my wife's Tsi golf
