Single DIN gauage holder??

I'm hoping to take out the OEM radio/CD/cassete player and put in place a single din MP3 / bluetooth handsfree head unit. This will leave me with a din spare which I could put a pocket or something in. I’ve been wondering, could I put a single din gauge holder in instead of a cubby or panel?

I would want a boost gauge if I can find a single gauge holder. If I can only find a three gauge holder I could have an ampage gauage and what else would be worth putting in? Can I get a Liquid Gauge to fit in a din?

Thought Awesome GTI did single din gauge panels but can't see one on their site - must be out there somewhere - or cut a hole in a blanking panel!
