Neuspeed P-Chip and P-Flo??
« on: 11 January 2010, 22:54 »
Alrighty, i've just bought my self a MkIV 25th Anniversary Golf and know very little about it. I would like to find out somehow if it's been mapped or modified in anyway. I think it may have but i'm unsure. I've got a plague on my landing panel which says Neuspeed P-Chip and P-Flo, heres the picture http://i276.photobucket.com/albums/kk24/Stuarty_Honda/11012010247.jpg
and i've also got an uprated airbox intake pipe, which says Creations Motorsport on it, heres the picture http://i276.photobucket.com/albums/kk24/Stuarty_Honda/11012010248.jpg

I was hoping to find out if the car was mapped and if its a safe and reliable map and if so, how much power it would roughly put out.

Thanks for your time

The neuspeed p-chip is similar to a remap but is a physical chip soldered to the pcb and is good for around 200bhp. As far as i'm aware they're reliable enough, albeit a bit weak compared to other remaps. Just remember an ecu upgrade is only as good as the engine it's running though :afro:
