v6 4 motion, what it worth?

hi guy's i'm new to golf's and got the chance to buy a 4 motion, its y reg 140k miles and very messy inside, needs new seat covers add door cards, s and ash tray.  any ideas to whats it worth? Cheers guy's

A 4motion with that amount of miles on it, that has clearly not been looked after, is a potentially bottomless money pit.

I wouldn't touch it with yours..

£2-2.5k at most. I bought a mint 02 plate with 65k & FVSH for just over £4k.

it's very cheap. think i may be able to get it for 1k, might leave it! its a import as well

You could be very lucky and it may just need cosmetic work.

Get it looked over by a mechanic who knows golfs, and importantly, is familiar with the haldex 4x4 system.

I would defo leave it - Almost gauranteed trouble at that price..
