Broken door lock barrel
« on: 02 January 2010, 17:04 »
Hey everyone!

Happy New Year!!

The key/lock barrel on my drivers door is just spinning and not activating the lock... Passenger side still works thankfully! Anyway, I've seen this repair kit on eBay... Has anyone ever bought one of these?

thanks!

Yes, I had to buy it, because my driver's lock wasn't working too. Got it from eBay as well.

Excellent, quick AND cheap fix. You can ask for instructions, and the seller will send them.

Why not get the whole kit from your local VW dealer, thats what i did. It was not much more or even the same price as that but included all the components of the lock including the locking barrel etc.

Easy and obvious to fit
