Heater control Bulbs???

Hi guys,

my heater control bulbs have gone on my mk4, is it easy to replace these?

tried it on my wifes leon but the bulb was so tight it broke, you turn the motor switch (centre one) to 12 )clock  I think and pull the whole switch out towards you, the bulb is in there, if your gentle you can use some tweezers or a bit of small bore bleed hose to put over the bulb and pull it out

You will need one of these


Pull the center fan speed swich off. This is quite hard and will need a lot of wigerlin. Also make a note where the swich is sitting. Is it on the off or 1-4 postion.
Once off you will see the poped bulb. use the tool above to agane wigle the bulb out. You may brake the bulb, if you do its ok. just makes a mess.
Once dead bulb is out push new bulb in, being carefal not to brake it. make shore it gos in as far as you can get it. When happy check the light works and when happy push the swich back on.
Jobs done  :cool:
