Never had a blow out but plenty of screws n nails, and even 10inches of fenching wire inside one of the rear tyres once. Always been able to spot the slightly deflated tyre, never any rapid air loss. £35 is less than the tyre goo from Porsche and its got to be better than that !

Dont hold your breath on that one :lipsrsealed:

but i suppose £35 for an extra button to push is probably worth in anyway

£35 is neither here nor there, and since i generally get a puncture every 10k miles anyway, and even  if it only gives me a few more seconds notice its money well spent

TT is quite right... you will know well before the tyre monitor does

If you carefully read its spec, it is actually a flat tyre monitor - ie, it only warns you when the tyre is actually flat.  It does NOT monitor actual pressures, and even with a drop of 25psi - it will NOT warn you.  Been there, done that, got the well worn T shirt.  I honestly reckon the European Union will ban these types before long.  Speak to Michelin Technical, and they will strongly tell you how sh!t these types are!

Don't agree.
I had a nail on the inside of one of my tyres, looked fine from a casual glance. The FTI warning sounded and I had a much closer look and eventually found the nail (took quite a while as it was on the inside). I would not have found this without the FTI. What price safety??
