If i had 2k to spend i'd rather have dai's.. at least you know its been looked after, and you can shout at him on here when it goes wrong  i cant see why it'd be more to insure than a 1.8t? i'm sure most insurance companies base it on the car the engine has come from in the first place.

and its down in the log book as a 1.8 complete with the correct engine number so its all above board :afro:

Plus if the engine blows because of the remap you can blame Nick and Topher

If I had been 20years younger I would have definitely bought it......... Unfortunately with teenage kids 2 door is not an option {even though is a second car} and over the years I have grown to dislike red coloured cars........if I was your age I would feel like a dog with two knobs driving it but at my age I would feel like mutton dressed like lamb.....

Ive just swapped a ZT for a 00 w plate with 110k on the clock , yes there are as few problems to sort but engine is working perfect even though its due a service, being done later!

From what I know the engines will be good for a lots of miles up to 200k easy if its properly maintained.
