You could always upgrade the rears too.

I did a decent search and ended up going for the rear S3 full upgrade. Calipers, discs, pads etc.

Stock GTI/ED30 rears have 286mm solid discs

S3 rear upgrade have 310mm VENTED discs, slightly larger pistons and slightly larger pads.

Including fitting I managed to source a set for £250 :cool:

Did any of you guys have any issues with the extra weight, (notice any differance), this upgrade is bloody heavy at 15kgs extra for the fronts only

If you are worried about adding weight, then the only options for upgrades are alloy calipers and 2 piece floating discs. The TAROX's on my car are actually lighter than the OEM fronts. :cool:
