If I am not mistaken both the EA888 & EA113 engines use timing chain.
The Mk5 GTI Ed30 also uses the same EA113 engine but ECU tweaked to produce another 30hp.
erh no not exactly, theres more then just a tweaked ecu. Bigger twin scroll turbo for one and lots of upgraded and strenghtened internals.
Engine Block from the ed30 is the same as the S3 engine block, before you add everything else chap
