arm rest

i have a ashtray thing where the arm rst goes is this easy to swap out for arm rest and would this one be ok oem quality?

You'll need to get a couple of fittings from vw, ones a stud and the other 2 are clips with threads in....

Yeah I quite fancy a fabric one too.

i have the top part of the arm rest for sale in fabric....all you will need is the base which it attaches to. this is like two solid metal pieces which attach to the centre part of the car (under the ash tray)... you can get one from the local breakers. its not hard to fit the only thing is on the ones that come standard with the armrest they have bolts to bolt the base to where as when you are fitting one you need to put the nuts and washers on yourself, apart from that its straight forward no drilling or anything required! email me if you want the arm rest.

For a few quid you can buy the proper fixings from vw, save yourself a load of time and stress dropping nuts and bolts under your seats  :wink:
