Temp sender tells the ecu the temperature of the water n whatever. Basically allows the ecu to control the fuel mixture

Could this be the cause of my problems then, cold, runs great, warm/hot, pinks under exceleration, miss fires etc?

That sounds more like timing problems methinks.Could be wrong though,normally am.

Has it always done it? Could also be the mixture screw? My knowledge is limited to be honest mate as I have gathered most of my info from the helpful chaps on this forum. I would of thought it was something to do with fueling, if it has only just started doing it after say a cambelt change then timing maybe as weaz says
