Rear bushes maybe?
« on: 17 October 2009, 11:44 »
 :undecided:

Hey guys,

When I go over bumps etc the rear of the car seems to feel really bumpy, sort of like a clunk noise.... Im thinking it may be the bushes that are gone but was wondering what the other causes could be?

Its kinda annoying as it feels like im running coilovers on the back instead of standard gti shocks/springs lol.

Also is there only 1 bush on the rear both sides?

Many thanks

They are oil filled on the back so more than likely they have split over time anyways. Upgrade to the tried and tested vRS bushes. Could also be the bump stops or even the shocks failing though
