Hey all

I got me some OZ Hydra 16" alloys on my 8V which I believe the previous owner shod with the incorrect tyre size (205/15 R16) and am considering downsizing to 15" steelies.  Is this something that is possible/plausable/advisable/ desirable or just plain stupid?  I quite like the idea of painted steel wheels - probably black but unsure if gloss or matt and thought I'd gauge the response *cowers behind the sofa waiting for the abuse to start hailing down upon him*

Also want an airbox (AGG engine code) but really struggling to get hold of one.  In terms of the forum sales section, do many people read the wanted section or is it best to pester the people breaking for spares?  Just interested to see what people thought.

195/45, 205/45 or 215/40/16 is the correct size.

Yes you can get steels but 15" would need to be from a mk4 etc, tyres would need to be 195/50/15.
